Job Summary

Pay Band Physical Therapist – Degree $40,187 to $49,255 (5‑step range)

Location: Saskatoon

Employment: Part‑time, Permanent, 0.86 FTE

Shift: Days, Weekends, Standby – 24 shifts of 8 hours over 6 weeks.

Responsibilities

- Report directly to the Senior Physical Therapist; treat patients assigned to the senior therapist by physical therapy.
- Direct, guide, and evaluate physical therapy students.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS).
- Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan College of Physical Therapists (SCPT).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- Concentration and attention for resident/patient assessment.
- Initiative & judgment to plan, implement, and modify treatment programs for clients.
- Ability to cope with clients dealing with stress/psychosocial issues.




- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work in collaboration with others.
- Ability to integrate ideas into a team treatment approach.
- Creative problem solving in an open and resourceful manner.
- Ability to collect, record, report comprehensive client information accurately.
- Ability and flexibility in adapting to changing situations and environments.
- Concentration and attention for treatment, teaching, and report writing.
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others as required.

- Preference will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement.
