Overview
Our client, a versatile, multi-disciplinary firm of engineers, architects, surveyors, and urban planners offering consulting services for land development and public sector projects, is seeking a Civil Designer or Engineer to work out of their Vancouver office. This is a permanent, full-time, hybrid position, offering a market-competitive salary and comprehensive benefits and vacation package. The successful candidate will have 3-7 years’ experience of stormwater, water and wastewater experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare studies, reports, design documents, and design plans and specifications for storm, water and wastewater projects.

Prepare storm, water and wastewater hydraulic models.

Minor system capacity analysis

HGL analysis

Watershed analysis,



hydrograph and peak discharge development and routing

Flood analysis

Stormwater quantity / quality calculations

Watermain analysis

Qualifications

An Engineering Degree from an Accredited Institution.

Registered EIT or licensed P.Eng

3-7+ years of water/wastewater design experience.

Strong work ethic and motivation to succeed.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and must be well organized to be able to prioritize multiple tasks and demonstrate a flexible approach to work assignments
