LOCAL HIRING

This position is reserved for Inuit/JBNQA beneficiary who resides in the community.

Translation in inuktitut will be available shortly Person Who Does General Work In The Laundry/linen Department
Picks up soiled linens/clothes from the units and/or the services and takes it to the laundry room;
Sorts linens/clothes brushes off soiled and weighs clothes before putting it into washer. Loads and unloads the machines;
Irons and folds linens/clothes when necessary;
Mends linens/clothes that need it and identify the current material.

Exigences spécifiques/Specific Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent would be an asset.
Bilingual (Inuktitut/English or French).
Knowledge of washing linens/clothes maintenance techniques.
Knowledge of sewing and ironing.




Punctual and assiduous.
Sense of responsibilities and organization.
