Overview

We are seeking a friendly and energetic Busser/Food Runner to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role is essential in providing exceptional guest experiences by ensuring timely and efficient service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of food safety and cleanliness standards.

Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are key. This position offers an prospect to develop skills in customer service, food handling, and restaurant operations within a lively dining workplace.

Duties
Transparent and reset tables promptly to maintain a clean and inviting dining area
Assist servers by delivering food from the kitchen to guests efficiently as a Food Runner
Refill beverages and respond to guest requests courteously and promptly
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping, wiping tables, and organizing service stations
Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation or ingredient replenishment as needed
Handle food safely according to established protocols and proper food handling procedures




Operate POS systems such as TouchBistro POS for order accuracy when necessary
Ensure all serving utensils, dishes, and glassware are clean and sanitized
Assist with general restaurant cleaning duties to uphold health standards
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service flow

Experience
Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is advantageous but not mandatory
Familiarity with serving, food preparation, cashiering, or barista duties is a plus
Experience with food safety standards and proper handling techniques is preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Customer service experience that demonstrates professionalism and attentiveness to guest needs
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a lively restaurant atmosphere
