We are seeking a reliable and hard working day time bottle sorter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently sorting products, and maintaining a clean and secure work environment.
Duties
Sort refundable beverage containers by material type (plastic, aluminum, glass, etc.)
Assist with bagging, counting, and preparing materials for shipment
Perform light lifting tasks safely to handle materials and products during the sorting process
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning equipment
Follow all health & safety protocols
Support customers or other team members as needed
Qualifications
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety procedures
Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks involving lifting and moving heavy objects
Customer service is an asset
Class 5 BC Driver's Licence is an asset (not required)
Forklift Certification is an asset (not required)
Pay: From $18.25 per hour
