In this pivotal role, the Senior Manager will ensure the success of Scotiabank’s Global Compliance Testing program. Your responsibilities will include not only managing compliance tests but also collaborating with various stakeholders to bolster governance. With a focus on both the Canadian and international landscape, you will be instrumental in identifying compliance risks and implementing effective testing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct compliance testing scope and execution for Corporate Functions
• Collaborate on Annual Test plans with compliance teams
• Report compliance testing results to Senior Management
• Identify and address compliance risks based on testing insights
• Implement process changes in line with testing outcomes
Requirements:
• BA or equivalent; professional certification preferred
• At least 7 years in compliance or audit roles
• In-depth understanding of regulatory compliance in key functions
• Robust leadership and communication skills
• Proficient in managing multiple projects simultaneously
