IT Build Specialist
Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid
Contract Length: 6-12 Months

Responsibilities
Conduct internal reviews of all patching documentation, artifacts, and RACIs—ensuring everything is audit-ready and stored to standard
Lead I&E; patching teams through preparation for regulatory and internal audit activities
Implement corrective procedures and escalation processes for teams that are not meeting the Patching Standard
Receive, consolidate, and validate KPIs and KRIs from individual patching teams
Act as SME for process documentation, RACI frameworks, and Segment Reviews
Partner with patching teams to create and maintain all required standard control documents
Review, store, and approve all patching documents related to standards and controls
Maintain and govern Confluence, SharePoint, and all reference data repositories
Coordinate audit and regulatory exam preparation; support risk and regulatory response activities
Identify gaps and provide recommendations to uplift governance maturity across I&E;
Required Qualifications
5+ years in IT governance, technology risk,
infrastructure controls, or a related discipline
Certification an asset: CRISC, CISM, CISA, or CISSP
Experience engaging risk partners: ORM, Internal Audit, or Regulatory teams
Robust working knowledge of KPI/KRI development and monitoring in an IT or security context
Excellent knowledge of cybersecurity industry control standards
Proficiency with GRC platforms and document management tools (Confluence, SharePoint, JIRA)
Demonstrated ability to influence without authority across multiple business lines
Experience with patch management, vulnerability remediation, or infrastructure compliance is a strong asset
