Support the cadaveric anatomy teaching laboratories at Western University as a Laboratory Technician II. This role demands specialized technical assistance, ensuring safe and effective lab operations. As part of Western’s Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, this temporary full time position will last for 16 months. You will provide crucial support in preparing anatomy labs for medical, dental, and undergraduate education.
Key responsibilities include handling human anatomical specimens, maintaining compliance with health standards, and assisting faculty during lab sessions. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare anatomy laboratory spaces and specimens safely
Support delivery of anatomy lab sessions effectively
Maintain equipment and troubleshoot technical issues
Follow health and safety protocols strictly
Communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences or relevant field
One year of experience with cadaveric materials
Knowledge of laboratory practices and dissection instruments
