Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Italian Home Support Workers to provide exceptional care and assistance to our clients in a home setting. This role involves supporting seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness, ensuring they receive respectful, personalized care that promotes independence and well-being. The ideal candidate will have experience in assisted living, patient care, or related fields, with a robust commitment to enhancing quality of life through attentive caregiving.

Responsibilities
Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences
Administer medications accurately according to prescribed schedules and protocols
Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation
Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and maintaining a safe workplace
Support clients with mobility and transfer assistance, including heavy lifting when necessary
Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members
Assist with activities that promote mental stimulation and social engagement




Follow all safety procedures and health guidelines to ensure client safety at all times

Qualifications
Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospice care, or home care settings is preferred
Knowledge of patient care techniques, dementia care, or working with individuals with disabilities is advantageous
Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate approach to client needs
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks safely and effectively
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Certification in medication administration or caregiving is a plus but not mandatory
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; reliability and punctuality are essential
Valid driver’s license may be preferred for transportation purposes
