About the Opportunity:

The Lot 1 Pasta Bar team is looking for a bartender and variable manager. This role is a mix of bartending and variable management shifts.

Duties & Responsibilities (Bartender)
Open and close the bar.
Prepare bar ingredients and recipes.
Maintain bar cleanliness and organization.




Serve guests to Lot 1 standards.
Help with takeout, food expediting and delivering meals.
Take payments and perform daily cashouts.

Duties & Responsibilities (Variable Manager)
Assist the General and Assistant Managers in running the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
Lead the restaurant team during management floor shifts.
Drive restaurant performance standards and maintain a positive guest experience.
Complete daily cash and restaurant closing duties.
Fill in as needed to ensure the restaurant runs efficiently.
Work with staff to ensure a positive staff experience.

Qualifications
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
A positive outlook and 'glass half-full' mentality.
Minimum 2 years experience in a fast-paced restaurant setting (staff role).
Minimum 1 year experience in a management or supervisor role.
Post secondary education or skilled trades certification an asset.
Certifications: First Aid level 1, food secure, serving it right
