Become a vital part of Adult & Teen Challenge of Central Canada as an Addiction Recovery Support Staff in Thunder Bay, ON. This full-time position is centered on providing structure and care for clients in recovery.
This role involves direct supervision and operational support within a faith-based environment, emphasizing compassionate care for clients overcoming addiction. You will engage with clients through various activities, assist in maintaining a respectful atmosphere, and provide critical crisis response. Solid relational and organizational skills are key to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain program structure and supervise client interactions
• Provide support during daily schedules and events
• Assist with medication management and safety checks




• Respond effectively to incidents or emergencies
• Support fundraising initiatives as needed
Requirements:
• Education in social work, addiction services, or ministry is preferred
• Relatable experience in addiction recovery required
• Must have or obtain a Valid driver's license
• First Aid Certification and kitchen experience are advantageous
• Ability to manage personal boundaries and maintain structure
