Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. In this vital role, you will support pharmacists in dispensing medications, managing patient care, and maintaining accurate pharmacy operations. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help ensure our community receives safe, efficient, and compassionate healthcare services.

Duties
Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, labeling, and dispensing to ensure accuracy and safety
Provide excellent patient care by answering questions, offering medication guidance, and supporting health-related inquiries
Manage inventory levels, restock shelves, and verify medication stock to maintain optimal pharmacy operations
Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, prescription processing, and maintaining patient records with precision
Apply medical terminology knowledge to accurately interpret prescriptions and communicate effectively with healthcare providers




Support medication administration procedures when necessary under supervision, ensuring compliance with safety standards
Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to all health and safety regulations

Qualifications
Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is highly desirable
Experience as a pharmacy technician or in pharmacy support roles is preferred
Solid understanding of medical terminology and medication administration processes
Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to customer service
Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced workplace while maintaining attention to detail
Knowledge of pharmacy software systems and inventory management tools is advantageous
Drivers license to conduct deliveries
Certification or training related to pharmacy assistance or healthcare is a plus

Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
