About Us

Advanced Mechanical Ltd. is a growing mechanical contractor specializing in commercial and multi-family plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems. We are looking for motivated 1st and 2nd Year Plumbing Apprentices who are eager to learn, develop their skills, and build a long-term career in the plumbing trade.

Responsibilities
Assist Journeyperson Plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems.
Install DWV, domestic water, storm, and hydronic piping under supervision.
Assist with rough-in and finishing work on commercial and multi-family construction projects.
Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings with guidance.
Measure, cut, thread, and assemble various types of piping.
Install plumbing fixtures and equipment.
Load, unload, and organize materials and tools.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Follow WorkSafeBC safety regulations and company safety policies.
Complete other duties assigned by the Site Foreman or Project Manager.

Qualifications




Registered as a 1st or 2nd Year Plumbing Apprentice (or eligible to register).
Previous construction or plumbing experience.
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Valid BC Driver's Licence and reliable transportation are considered assets.
