Mathnasium is a leading provider of math tutoring services, helping students of all ages and abilities develop a deeper understanding of math and build lasting confidence. We are looking for enthusiastic, talented, and dedicated individuals to join our team as Math Instructors at our Whitby location. If you love math and enjoy working with students to help them achieve their full potential, we want to hear from you!

Duties
Teach students in a one-on-one or small group setting, using the Mathnasium Method™ to improve their understanding of math concepts.
Customize learning plans for students based on their individual strengths, weaknesses, and learning pace.
Foster a positive, encouraging, and motivating learning environment that helps students build confidence and enthusiasm for math.
Communicate regularly with parents and the Centre Director about student progress.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.




Participate in ongoing training and career development to enhance your teaching skills and knowledge.

Experience
Strong proficiency in math, including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and calculus (depending on the grade levels you’ll be teaching).
A passion for working with children and helping them succeed academically.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to explain complex math concepts in a clear, concise, and engaging manner.
Experience in tutoring or teaching is a plus, but not required—training will be provided.
Minimum of a bachelor's degree or coursework in math or education is a plus.
Availability to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
