Role Details

When you volunteer at the Canadian Cancer Society you have real impact. It takes all of us to take on cancer. Volunteer with us at one of our signature events in your community on event day. You can choose a specific role and shift(s) based on availability. You can also assist us when we need event support on an on-call basis in your own community.

Description

The Gala des Grands Chefs will take place on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at Espace Paddock, located at 200 Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.

Coat check volunteers will set up the coat check area and provide service to guests during the event.

Why we need you

Volunteers will help create a welcoming atmosphere for guests, contributing to fundraising efforts that will support people living with cancer.





What we're looking for
Attention to detail
Ability to work with minimum supervision
Able to move quickly
Physically able to move items as required
Volunteers must be 18+ unless accompanied by an adult.

Our Investment

A meaningful volunteer experience at our iconic Gala des Grands Chefs.

A meal will be provided to volunteers who start their shift at 4pm.

Your commitment

Date: Thursday, November 20, 2025

Shift: 3:00pm to 7:00pm and/or 7:00pm to 11pm

DRESS CODE

All black, dress pants or skirt and matching black top.
