Duties
Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, backhoes, and skidsteers to prepare sites, move materials, and execute project plans efficiently.
Assist with landscape installation tasks including grading, soil preparation, and site cleanup to ensure precise and professional results.
Maintain mechanical knowledge of equipment to perform routine inspections, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate repairs for optimal performance.
Support construction activities by handling horizontal drilling operations and other specialized tasks as needed.
Drive commercial vehicles safely to transport equipment, materials, or personnel between job sites while adhering to all safety regulations.




Collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations and site activities.
Keep detailed records of equipment usage, maintenance schedules, and project progress to support operational efficiency.

Skills
Proven experience operating heavy machinery including skidsteer, loaders, excavators, and tandem trucks.
Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on heavy equipment.
Skilled in loader operation and backhoe handling for various construction tasks.
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent for safe transportation of equipment and materials.
Experience with installation and landscaping projects.
Familiarity with heavy equipment safety standards and best practices in construction environments.
