About the Role

Core Collective is seeking a senior freelance Menswear Technical Designer / Pattern Maker to create complete, production-ready tech packs for our elevated men’s basics collection.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in men’s fit, garment construction, pattern making, grading and factory production. You must be able to translate sketches, reference garments and design direction into clear technical packages that factories can follow accurately.

Responsibilities
Create complete tech packs for knit and woven menswear
Develop technical flats, measurement specs and grade rules
Provide construction, stitching, trim and finishing details
Review samples and prepare explicit fit comments
Identify fit, proportion and construction issues
Recommend practical solutions that maintain design intent
Update specifications throughout the development process
Communicate with our product team and overseas factories as needed

Requirements
Senior-level menswear technical design and pattern-making experience
Proven experience creating factory-ready tech packs
Robust knowledge of fit, grading and garment construction
Experience with both knit and woven apparel
Advanced Adobe Illustrator skills
Solid Excel or Google Sheets skills
Excellent attention to detail and communication
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Contract Details
Freelance, project-based position
Potential for ongoing work

Compensation based on experience and project scope
