Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Hydrovac Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in heavy equipment operation and mechanical knowledge, with experience in various construction-related tasks. As a Hydrovac Operator, you will be responsible for operating hydrovac trucks to safely excavate and expose underground utilities while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Duties
Operate hydrovac equipment to perform safe excavation of underground utilities.
Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Collaborate with team members to plan and execute excavation projects efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Communicate effectively with project managers and other team members regarding project progress and any issues that arise.

Requirements
Proven experience in heavy equipment operation,



specifically with hydrovac trucks.
Solid mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform maintenance on equipment.
Valid Class 3 driver's license is required for operating company vehicles.
Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical labor as needed.
Robust attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the job site.
Previous experience in construction or related fields is an asset.
Ground disturbance Level 2.
