Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Service Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with various tools and machinery, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. Experience with heavy equipment, industrial machinery, and electrical systems is highly valued. Duties
Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on automobiles using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
Conduct maintenance procedures including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements
Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and industrial machinery when necessary
Repair or replace components on farm machinery, HVAC systems, or other industrial equipment
Use welding and fabrication skills for custom repairs or modifications




Follow safety protocols during all repair activities to ensure a secure work workplace
Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and service recommendations
Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used

Experience
Prior dealership experience or mechanic background preferred
Hands-on experience with automotive repair, heavy equipment operation, or industrial machinery
Familiarity with electrical systems, schematics, and troubleshooting techniques
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and maintenance tools
Experience working with farm machinery, HVAC systems, or construction equipment such as excavators or cranes is a plus
Solid mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work on projects requiring physical endurance
Customer service experience is advantageous for effective communication with clients
Previous work involving assembly or maintenance of complex mechanical systems is beneficial

Pay: $23.25-$40.00 per hour
