Weekday Day Shift Security Guard – Job Description

We are currently hiring professional and reliable Security Guards for weekday daytime shifts. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure setting for clients, staff, visitors, and property.

Position Details
Weekday shifts only
Day shifts
Full time and part time positions available
Locations may include commercial buildings, construction sites, retail plazas, offices, and residential properties

Responsibilities
Perform regular patrols of the property
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas
Observe and report suspicious activity
Complete daily activity and incident reports
Respond to alarms, emergencies, and client requests
Provide excellent customer service to tenants and visitors




Enforce site rules and safety procedures
Monitor CCTV systems where applicable
Ensure all doors, gates, and access points remain secure

Requirements
Valid Alberta Security License
Excellent communication and report writing skills
Skilled appearance and attitude
Ability to work independently
Reliable transportation is an asset
Basic computer and smartphone skills
Previous security experience preferred but not required

Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
