Westmount Pool & Spa is a family-owned and operated business serving the Guelph and surrounding communities since 1991 . We specialize in swimming pools, hot tubs, water care, and related products. We are seeking motivated, customer-focused Retail Sales Associates who thrive in a fast-paced retail workplace and enjoy delivering exceptional service.
Industry experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate with strong retail and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service and build long-term customer relationships
Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions
Perform in-store water testing and analysis (training provided)
Process sales transactions and handle payments accurately
Answer and direct phone calls professionally
Assist with merchandising, stocking, and inventory management
Receive, unpack, and price incoming shipments
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe retail environment
Support daily store operations and work collaboratively with team members
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year retail experience preferred
Robust communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving and time management skills
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Reliable and punctual
Ability to stand for extended periods and climb ladders/step stools
Knowledge of pools and hot tubs considered an asset
