Associate Lawyer

Richmond Hill, ON

Our well established and highly regarded law firm located in the north end of Toronto is hiring. They are looking to add a Mortgage Enforcement Lawyer to their growing team.

In this role you will work with friendly and supportive people with an exceptional roster of lender clients.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Power of sale proceedings and foreclosure actions
Commercial and residential mortgage enforcement
Title disputes and priority issues
Recovery strategies, including judgment enforcement
Real estate litigation related to secured lending
Advising lenders and mortgage servicers on risk, strategy, and compliance

Requirements:
4+ years of litigation or a real estate law background, with robust exposure to secured lending or enforcement matters.
Experience navigating the Courts of Justice Act,



Land Titles Act, and Rules of Civil Procedure
Strong drafting skills, positive judgment, and a solutions-first mindset
The ability to manage files independently while collaborating with a supportive team
