Job Summary
At the Boss Restaurant, Valleyview, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes while ensuring adherence to food safety standards. This role is essential in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
Monitor food inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure secure food handling practices.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service times.
Help train current kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety procedures.

Skills




Proficient in food handling practices and knowledge of food safety regulations.
Experience in a restaurant or food service environment preferred.
Strong skills in meal preparation and cooking techniques.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Robust communication skills (English) to effectively collaborate with team members.
