Urban Dirtworks Inc., is a well-established construction company operating out of Sylvan Lake, Alberta with most of our work based in and around central Alberta. We offer competitive wages and a friendly working setting. We are currently looking for an experienced and safety conscious Full Time Excavator Operator

(Must have water and sewer digging experience).

Job duties include but are not limited to:
Excavating sub grade excavation, trenching and material handling
Excavating for underground, sewer and water installation
Cutting slopes and ditches to grade; maintaining OH&S; requirements
Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment
Greasing, cleaning and refilling and overall maintenance of equipment
Must be able to operate an Excavator and safely excavate around utilities and mains
Ensure all work is conducted in a protected and responsible manner




Read and interpret ground markings to ensure proper depth to grade is followed
Willing to assist ground crew when machine is not in use

Qualifications
Class 5 valid Drivers License
Minimum 3 year experience as an Excavator Operator
Ability to work long hours with some weekends and overtime
Must comply with Urban Dirtworks’ health and safety policy
Self-motivated and able to complete tasks with minimal supervision
Strong problem-solving and decision making skills, attention to detail, and a team player
Ground Disturbance Level 2, First Aid, H2S and CSTS an asset
