Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst for a contract/temporary opportunity in Mississauga, ON. This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong reporting, forecasting, and analysis experience who enjoys turning financial and operational data into clear business insights.

As a Financial Analyst, you will support the financial operations of an assigned division within a retail environment, partnering with finance leadership and cross-functional business teams. This opportunity offers exposure to P&L; reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance analysis in a rapid-paced, collaborative setting with supportive leadership and strong team interaction.

Key Responsibilities
Support divisional financial operations, including reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
Prepare and analyze daily and monthly P&L; reports,



ensuring accuracy and completeness through the general ledger close process.
Conduct variance and trend analysis to identify key business drivers, risks, opportunities, and performance insights.
Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models to support planning, forecasting, and decision-making.
Partner with business leaders and finance leadership to validate forecasts, monitor performance, and provide actionable recommendations.
Improve reporting processes, data extraction, reporting tools, and databases to increase efficiency, accuracy, and visibility.

Compensation and Advantages
Pay range: $25 to $35 per hour.
