We are seeking a passionate and energetic Experienced Swim Instructor with a strong background in teaching swimming to diverse age groups. Fluency in English is essential, and proficiency in Mandarin is considered an asset to better serve our multilingual community. Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and effective swimming lessons tailored to individual skill levels and learning styles
Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing pool rules and monitoring activities at all times
Assess students’ progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement
Prepare lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and promote skill mastery
Communicate clearly with students and parents about goals, progress, and safety procedures
Maintain a clean, organized pool area and ensure all equipment is in valuable working condition




Adapt teaching methods to accommodate Mandarin-speaking students when applicable, fostering an inclusive workplace

Requirements
Proven experience as a swim instructor or similar teaching role, with a focus on teaching swimming skills
Solid knowledge of swimming techniques, water safety practices, and instructional methods
Excellent communication skills in English; Mandarin language skills are highly desirable but not mandatory
Ability to motivate students of all ages and skill levels through positive reinforcement
Certification in lifeguarding or water safety instruction (such as Red Cross or equivalent) is preferred
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed
Passion for teaching, patience, and the ability to create an encouraging learning environment
