In order to establish a valuable first impression of Bâton Rouge hospitality, we must provide an immediate and warm welcome to guests upon their arrival as well as thank them and invite them to return upon their departure. Accompanying guests to their table, including tracking, and arranging wait lists and reservations are essential responsibilities of the host/hostess position. We must also ensure good hygiene, the cleanliness of the premises and the safety of our customers. This position also encompasses the responsibilities of clearing tables, transporting beverages, and assisting in the dining room as needed, as well as coordinating take-out orders. The Bâton Rouge host/hostess always acts with poise and professionalism in the performance of their duties.

The Bâton Rouge host/hostess is the first team member to interact with our guests. For this individual to fulfill the important responsibilities of this position,



the incumbent must ensure that they provide a very good first impression to our guests by projecting a sophisticated, well-groomed and polished appearance. In doing so, he must promote Bâton Rouge as a place that offers a unique dining experience. We want the job holder to become an expert in the field of hospitality and recognize repeat customers. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Responsible for booking reservations and assigning tables to the guests.
Welcome guests and show them to their tables.
Oversee the guests reviews by talking to guests and ensuring they are happy with the food and service and handle any concerns.
May perform other duties as assigned.
