Job Summary

Smitty's Restaurant & Lounge - Steinbach is seeking an experienced and motivated Barista/Restaurant Manager to oversee daily café and restaurant operations. In this leadership role, you will manage staff, ensure exceptional customer service, maintain food and beverage quality, and support efficient business operations while creating an outstanding guest experience.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily café and restaurant operations
Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate team members
Ensure exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction
Prepare and oversee the quality of coffee and specialty beverages
Monitor food quality, presentation, and service standards
Manage employee schedules, inventory, and supply orders
Handle customer concerns and resolve issues professionally

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality or business education is a plus
Previous experience in restaurant, café, or hospitality management preferred
Experience as a barista or knowledge of coffee preparation is an asset
Solid leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
