Transform lives as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse focusing on children’s mental health care in a residential setting. Work within a dedicated multi-disciplinary team to support youth with behavioral and emotional needs.
This role calls for a compassionate RN or RPN with strong pediatric and psychiatric backgrounds. You will provide direct assessment, intervention, and ongoing evaluation of care for children and youth facing diverse challenges. Your expertise will contribute to secure and effective treatment in alignment with established healthcare visions and values.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care to children and youth
• Conduct assessments and evaluations of patient needs
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team
• Implement care interventions based on treatment plans
• Manage behaviors using progressive strategies
Requirements:
• Active registration with nursing college
• Minimum two years recent relevant experience
• One year pediatric and psychiatric experience
• Ability to manage aggressive behavior
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
