In your role as Supervisor, you will coordinate the sonography department's operations at Burnaby Hospital, ensuring high-quality patient care through effective staff management and technical oversight. The position requires being a graduate of an accredited diagnostic sonography program and certification from Sonography Canada or ARDMS, along with a minimum of four years relevant experience, including a supervisory background.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise daily operations and staffing for ultrasound
• Evaluate and coordinate imaging requisitions and procedures
• Oversee safety regulations' compliance and quality assurance
• Participate in coaching and staff development
• Maintain records and facilitate research initiatives
Requirements:
• Certification with Sonography Canada or ARDMS necessary
• Four years of recent experience in sonography roles
