Responsibilities
Assist painters with surface preparation including sanding, scraping, and caulking to ensure smooth finishes
Handle hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during painting and rigging tasks
Support the setup and breakdown of scaffolding, ladders, and other rigging equipment for elevated work
Read blueprints, schematics, or job instructions to understand project specifications and scope
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, masking, and applying primer as needed for residential, commercial, or industrial projects




Mix paints and other materials accurately according to project requirements
Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times

Qualifications
Prior construction experience or familiarity with building sites preferred but not required
Ability to read blueprints and schematics to understand project details
Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, caulking techniques, and carpentry skills
Experience with restoration work or industrial painting is a plus
Robust communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients
Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines efficiently
Customer service mindset with a positive attitude towards client satisfaction
Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting, standing for long periods, and working at heights safely
