Serving both the public and our Lifestyle Options – Schonsee community, we take pride in using fresh, high‑quality ingredients and offering nutritious daily specials alongside timeless diner classics that appeal to guests of all ages.

The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a General Kitchen Helper to join our Ken’s Diner team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will provide general kitchen support duties under the direction of the Head Chef.

What you’ll do:
Support kitchen staff with general duties and food service.
Wash dishes and clean kitchen equipment.
Receive and store food deliveries.
Maintain cleanliness: wipe surfaces, polish stainless steel, sweep and mop floors.
Dispose of garbage and recycle cardboard.
Assist with plating,



portioning, and clearing during meal service.

Qualifications:
One (1) year experience in food industry is considered an asset.
Familiarity with WHMIS, safety, and sanitation preferred.
Robust English communication skills; friendly and respectful with residents and staff.
Able to prioritize tasks and work independently.
Team-oriented with a robust work ethic and positive attitude.
