Are you a forward-thinking leader with a passion for excellence? We are actively seeking a General Manager in Southwestern Ontario for an auto accessory store.

As a General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the facility. The ideal candidate will possess robust leadership skills, excellent communication abilities and a comprehensive understanding of retail management. You will be responsible for leading and motivating staff and maintaining the overall efficiency of the store.

Here’s What You’ll be Doing:
Collaborates with the ownership to make final decisions on goals and objectives.
Collaborates with Sales manager on Forecasts and meeting Sales objectives.
Participates, reviews and provides recommendations for the annual operating forecast and budget for the store. Manages operational department expenses.
Manages the shop work and shop staff. Manages productivity, reviews work and deals with daily issues. Coordinates shop daily schedule.
Coordinates with Sales to ensure that Shop and other staff supporting Sales as needed.
Responsible for hiring, training, motivating, coaching and monitoring the performance of applicable employees.
Responsible for coordination,



the development, implementation and monitoring of Health and Safety programs. Also responsible for housekeeping around the facility.

· Inspect, test, and evaluate workplace settings, equipment, and practices to ensure government regulations and company policies are followed.
Performs other duties as required by ownership to ensure the successful operation of the store.

Skills and Qualifications
Completion of high school diploma or vocational equivalent.
A university degree or college diploma in business administration is an asset.
Minimum 15 to 20 years experience in retail sales industry, including a minimum of 10 years in a supervisory role.
Experience working with a technical product. Vehicle experience an asset.
Valid Ontario Driver’s License and a clean driver’s abstract.
Excellent leadership and management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written English) skills.
Ability to build a customer focused team setting.

Pay: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
