Overview

We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, utilizing various skills including commercial driving and heavy equipment operation. A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are essential for this position. Prior experience with forklift operation, freight handling, or automotive repair is a plus, but training will be provided as needed.

Responsibilities
Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner
Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or hand trucks
Ensure all deliveries are accurately documented and verified against delivery manifests
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise
Assist with the operation of heavy equipment when necessary, adhering to safety protocols




Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and delivery area
Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation duties

Skills
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience preferred
Ability to operate forklifts, heavy equipment, or other machinery as required
Basic automotive repair knowledge is advantageous for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues
Strong organizational skills for managing delivery schedules and documentation
Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
Ability to operate within safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques and equipment handling
Experience with freight handling or warehouse operations is beneficial but not mandatory

Pay: $17.85-$20.00 per hour
