Overview
We are seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for finishing drywall surfaces to a high standard of quality, ensuring smooth, seamless walls and ceilings for residential and commercial projects. This role requires attention to detail, proficiency in various finishing techniques, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience with construction painting, carpentry, caulking, and blueprint reading is highly desirable. A robust handyman background will also be considered an asset. Duties
Apply joint compound and tape to drywall seams, corners, and joints to create a smooth surface
Sand and finish drywall surfaces to achieve a flawless appearance
Install corner beads and other finishing accessories as needed
Perform caulking around trim, windows, and other fixtures to ensure proper sealing
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to accurately complete projects
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects




Maintain a clean work area and adhere to safety standards throughout all tasks
Assist with related carpentry or handyman tasks as required

Experience
Prior experience in drywall finishing or related construction roles is preferred
Knowledge of construction painting, carpentry, caulking, and blueprint reading is advantageous
Handyman experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility across various trades
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a dynamic workplace
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
Physical ability to lift materials, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions effectively
