We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist RMT to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide professional massage therapy services to clients, helping them achieve relaxation, pain relief, and improved overall well-being. Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ physical conditions and discuss their health concerns and treatment goals.
Develop individualized massage therapy plans tailored to each client's needs.
Perform professional massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other modalities as appropriate.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records of treatments provided and progress notes.
Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend exercises or lifestyle adjustments when necessary.
Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable treatment workplace in compliance with health and safety standards.
Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and continuing education requirements.
Build strong relationships with clients to foster trust and encourage repeat visits.
Requirements
Valid registration and licensure as a Massage Therapist with the appropriate regulatory body.
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and client health conditions.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with diverse clients.
Strong communication skills to explain treatment procedures clearly and listen attentively to client concerns.
Prior experience in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed.
Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and adhere to ethical standards at all times.
Flexibility to work scheduled appointments during business hours, including evenings or weekends if required.
