About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Health Care Aide (HCA) registered College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA) with to join our care team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, person-centered care while supporting clients with their daily living needs and promoting their comfort, dignity, independence, and well-being.

Responsibilities
Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
Assist clients with meals, hydration, and other daily routines.
Provide secure transfers and mobility assistance using appropriate equipment and techniques.
Monitor and report changes in clients' physical, emotional, or behavioural condition.
Follow individual care plans and communicate effectively with the care team.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
Promote a protected, respectful, and supportive environment for clients.
Assist with light housekeeping and maintaining a clean and organized client environment.
Follow all workplace health and safety policies, infection prevention procedures, and applicable care standards.




Treat all clients with dignity, compassion, privacy, and respect.

Qualifications
Valid Health Care Aide (HCA) certificate
Current CPR/First Aid certification.
Previous experience in home care, continuing care, supportive living, long-term care, or a related setting is an asset.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, compassionate, and professional.
Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position.
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle is must
