PARTNERS Family Services is accepting applications for the position of Mental Health Counsellor. PARTNERS staff provide a safe, confidential and welcoming workplace that assists individuals and families to meet their immediate and on going needs. There is 1 permanent, full time position available:

Rapid Access Counsellor - providing solution focused, brief therapy to children, youth and adults 60% time out of the PFS office in Humboldt, SK and 40% time out of the PFS clinic in Wynyard, SK.

Scope of practice includes crisis intervention, rapid access counselling, clinical counselling, , client advocacy and systems navigation.
Travel within a 100km radius of Humboldt may be required on occasion.

Requirements:
BSW, BISW, MEd, OR current registration with a Canadian counselling body such as CCPA, CCPC, etc.
Competent in a variety of counselling modalities including solution focused and brief therapy
Experience working with youth and adults experiencing moderate mental health challenges including anxiety and depression and other mood disorder




-Experience collaborating and with internal and external stakeholders to ensure coordination of services to clients
Experience working with community groups, volunteers and agencies
Strong team work capacity, highly organized, and capable of managing varied demands
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and skilled demeanor
Excellent writing skills, time management, communication and file management skills
Computer competencies
Certified in First Aid, CPR, ASIST and NVCI
-Clear Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector screening

Pay: $30.00-$34.00 per hour
