Responsibilities
Prepare a wide range of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to established recipes and standards
Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair, including cake decorating techniques
Ensure all food preparation complies with food safety and handling regulations
Assist in food presentation, packaging, and portioning for service or take-out orders
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station and kitchen area
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders during busy periods




Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when restocking is needed
Uphold high standards of quality control for taste, appearance, and freshness

Qualifications
Proven experience in baking, pastry arts, or a related food industry role; restaurant experience is preferred
Robust skills in cake decorating, food preparation, and cooking techniques
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent customer service skills when interacting with guests or team members
Kitchen experience with familiarity in food packaging and presentation methods
Passion for baking and creating visually appealing desserts
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed
