Subzi Mandi Cash & Carry is hiring one experienced Indian Cook for our in-store kitchen at 9825 Chinguacousy Road, Brampton, ON L6X 0V1.

Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Indian dishes, including curries, vegetarian dishes, appetizers and tandoori items
Follow standardized recipes and maintain consistent food quality
Prepare ingredients and manage daily kitchen production
Maintain a clean, secure and organized kitchen
Follow food-safety, sanitation and workplace procedures
Monitor inventory and reduce food waste
Work efficiently during busy periods and assist with catering orders when required

Requirements:
Previous experience cooking Indian cuisine in a restaurant, commercial kitchen or grocery food-service environment
Knowledge of Indian spices, cooking methods and food preparation




Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced workplace
Food Handler Certificate is an asset
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

Job type: Full-time

Schedule: Must be available for adaptable shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays as required
