Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Service Technician Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance, providing a valuable foundation for a career as a professional mechanic. The apprentice will work closely with experienced technicians to develop skills in diagnostics, repairs, and customer service, contributing to the efficient operation of our service department.

Responsibilities
Assist senior technicians with automotive repairs and maintenance tasks
Learn to diagnose vehicle issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to perform repairs
Support in the replacement of parts and assembly of vehicle components
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles
Follow safety protocols during all repair procedures, including heavy lifting when necessary
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair status and recommendations

Requirements
Prior experience or automotive repair background is preferred but not required




Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with automotive systems
Experience with hand tools, power tools, welding, and schematics is advantageous
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Robust attention to detail and willingness to learn current skills
Excellent customer service skills to assist clients professionally
Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or coursework in automotive technology is a plus

Pay: $18.00-$28.00 per hour
