Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on industrial electrical and automation systems.
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility electrical equipment, including PLCs, drives, and control systems.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase uptime and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with all safety standards, policies, and procedures.
Collaborate closely with millwrights, operators, and engineers to solve problems and keep production running smoothly.
Preferred experiences and skills:
Valid Ontario Industrial Electrician License (442A)
Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
Proven ability to diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs (SLC, ControlLogix, or CompactLogix) and industrial automation
Solid understanding of electrical safety and lockout/tagout procedures
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
Willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime when required
Maintenance rotation schedule – 3 shifts, rotating every two weeks. Shift are – Day 7am-3pm – $44, – Aft 3pm-11pm – $44 + $1.25, Night 11pm-7am - $44 + $2.25
Pay: From $44.00 per hour
Experience:
Preventative maintenance: 3 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
442A License (required)
