AI Engineer x 2:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an AI Engineer for a 12 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

AI Engineer x 2 - Job Description:
The AI Engineer will be supporting a current AI initiative aimed at internal development for internal users. This project involves designing, building, and deploying AI/ML solutions to enhance business processes and improve decision-making.

AI Engineer x 2 - Responsibilities:
Develop end-to-end pipelines including data preprocessing, feature engineering, validation, and deployment.
Fine-tune LLM-based applications using frameworks like LangChain, LangSmith, or OpenAI APIs.
Deploy models into production using CI/CD pipeline.
Build scalable microservices or APIs to serve ML models in real time.
Implement monitoring for model drift, performance, and reliability.
Collaborate with data engineering teams to define data requirements.
Work with structured and unstructured datasets using Python, SQL, Spark, Pandas, etc.

AI Engineer x 2 - Mandatory Skills:




Strong programming skills in Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow).
Experience with LLMs, NLP, or deep learning.
Solid knowledge of MLOps tools: MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and model deployment.
Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering best practices.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
Robust problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.

AI Engineer x 2 – Nice-to-Have Skills:
Banking or financial institution experience.
Agile experience.

AI Engineer x 2 – Assignment Length:
This is a 12 month contract position with the possibility of extension based on business needs and performance.

AI Engineer x 2 - Start Date:
ASAP.

AI Engineer x 2 - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid position requiring 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home.
