Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Spray Painter to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to a variety of products and components, ensuring they meet strict quality standards and specifications. Duties
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal adhesion and finish quality
Operate spray painting equipment safely and efficiently, including airless sprayers and HVLP systems
Mix paints, primers, and coatings accurately according to specifications using basic math skills
Inspect finished products for consistency, color accuracy, and surface imperfections; perform touch-ups as needed
Maintain a clean work area by properly disposing of waste materials and cleaning equipment regularly
Follow safety protocols diligently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Assist with assembly or machining tasks when required to support production flow and efficiency

Skills
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and spray painting equipment
Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly and effectively
Experience operating cranes or forklifts is a plus for handling large or heavy items safely
Robust understanding of manufacturing processes and lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow
Ability to perform basic math calculations for mixing paints and measuring components accurately
Knowledge of welding or machining techniques is advantageous for integrated assembly tasks
Familiarity with mechanical systems, assembly procedures, and the use of various hand tools
