Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tile Setter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in flooring installation and tile laying. We are willing to train the right candidate.

Duties
Measure and prepare surfaces for tile installation according to project specifications
Cut, shape, and lay tiles using hand tools and power tools with precision
Mix and apply mortar or adhesive to secure tiles in place
Ensure proper alignment, spacing, and leveling of tiles for a qualified finish
Perform flooring installation including subfloor preparation when necessary
Apply caulking around edges for waterproofing and aesthetic purposes
Maintain a clean work area and dispose of debris responsibly
Collaborate with other trades such as carpentry or handyman teams to complete projects efficiently
Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries

Skills




Proficiency with hand tools used in tile setting, carpentry, and construction work
Experience with flooring installation and tile laying techniques
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
Robust knowledge of construction practices and building codes
Skilled in caulking, grout application, and surface preparation
Handyman experience is a plus for versatile project support
Valuable physical stamina for lifting, bending, and working in various positions throughout the day
Attention to detail to ensure precise measurements and high-quality finishes
Reliable work ethic with the ability to follow instructions independently or within a team setting

Pay: $20.79-$39.91 per hour
