Are you starting your culinary journey or looking to build your experience in a professional kitchen? Digby Pines Golf Resort & Spa is looking for a motivated and dependable Cook 3 to join our culinary team.

This is an excellent opportunity to learn, grow, and develop your skills in a supportive, fast-paced resort environment.

What You’ll Do

As a Cook 3, you will support the kitchen team in daily food preparation and service:
Assist in the preparation and basic cooking of menu items
Maintain cleanliness and organization of your workstation
Follow prep lists and support mise en place for service
Assist senior cooks during à la carte, banquets, and events
Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
Help with receiving, storing, and handling food items properly
Learn recipes, plating standards, and kitchen procedures
Support overall kitchen operations as directed by chefs

What We’re Looking For




Previous kitchen experience is an asset (but not required)
Culinary training or enrollment in a culinary program is an asset
Strong willingness to learn and grow in a professional kitchen
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Positive attitude and solid work ethic
Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace

Certifications & Requirements
Protected Food Handling Certification (or willingness to obtain)
WHMIS (asset)
First Aid & CPR (asset)

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
