Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Safety Manager to lead our safety initiatives across multiple construction sites. In this vital role, you will develop, implement, and oversee safety protocols that ensure a secure working workplace for all team members. Your expertise will help foster a safety-first culture while maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive safety policies and procedures tailored to construction projects.
Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure adherence to safety standards.
Lead safety training sessions for employees, subcontractors, and visitors to promote awareness and best practices.
Investigate incidents, accidents, or near-misses thoroughly, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.




Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to integrate safety measures into daily operations.
Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal safety regulations and industry standards related to construction.
Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, incident reports, and compliance documentation.

Requirements
Proven experience in construction safety management within industrial or large-scale construction environments.
Strong knowledge of construction estimating, quality inspection, construction inspection, electrical systems, project management, and quality control processes.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to train teams effectively on safety protocols.
Ability to conduct thorough site inspections and identify potential hazards proactively.
Relevant certifications such as OSHA or equivalent safety training credentials are highly desirable.
Construction or electrical experience is preferred to better understand technical site requirements.
