We are looking for people who are energetic and are ready to work for our growing business. We are one of the largest service providers for poultry bedding. Chopping straw and blowing it into barns on site all over midwestern Ontario.

Primary Duties:
Prepare poultry barns for placement of current flocks.
Operate tractors, skid steers, loaders, and other agricultural equipment.
Transport and spread bedding materials throughout poultry barns.
Drive company trucks and trailers to transport equipment and materials between customer farms.
Load, unload, and secure equipment and supplies.
Perform routine inspection, cleaning, lubrication, and minor maintenance of tractors, trucks, trailers, and equipment.
Follow all poultry industry biosecurity protocols and customer farm requirements.
Safely operate equipment in confined agricultural environments.
Work efficiently as part of a crew
Complete daily equipment inspections and report mechanical concerns.
Maintain a clean and protected work environment.
Follow all workplace health and safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
Previous agricultural, farm, construction, landscaping, heavy equipment, or similar manual labour experience is an asset.




Experience operating tractors, skid steers, loaders, or agricultural equipment is preferred.
Valid Ontario Class G driver's licence is required. A DZ licence is considered an asset if required for assigned vehicles.
Ability to learn and follow poultry biosecurity procedures.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:
Frequently lift and carry up to 25 kg (55 lb)
Perform repetitive bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting.
Work in dusty agricultural environments.
Stand and walk for extended periods.
Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Work flexible hours, including early mornings, and infrequent weekends
