Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our small manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components to create high-quality products and projects. You will contribute to the efficient production of custom metal projects from design through to install.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and welding processes.
Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding to join metal parts with precision and strength.
Use plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, hand tools, power tools, and other fabrication machinery to shape and assemble components.
Conduct rigging operations for lifting and positioning heavy materials or assemblies safely using cranes or forklifts.
Measure materials accurately with calipers, tape measures, and other measuring devices; apply basic math skills for accurate cuts and fits.
Fabricate structural frames, or custom metal parts in accordance with project specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols; inspect completed work for quality assurance.
Qualifications
Proven experience in welding (MIG and TIG) within manufacturing, construction, or fabrication environments.
Strong mechanical knowledge including the use of hand tools, power tools, calipers, schematics, and blueprints.
Familiarity with machining processes such as using press brake machines and plasma cutters.
Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints accurately.
Knowledge of rigging techniques, crane operation basics, forklift operation certification is a plus.
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
Demonstrated safety awareness in handling heavy equipment and power tools; commitment to maintaining a secure work workplace.

Pay: $18.00-$40.00 per hour
