Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Sandwich Artist to join our team. This role involves preparing fresh sandwiches and food items, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized work workplace. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting. Previous experience in food preparation or restaurant operations is a plus, but we are happy to provide training for the right candidate.

Duties
Prepare and assemble sandwiches and other food items according to company standards and customer preferences
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods
Ensure all food handling and sanitation procedures are followed to maintain food safety standards
Assist customers with menu selections, upselling additional items when appropriate
Maintain cleanliness of the food prep area, dining space, and equipment in accordance with sanitation guidelines
Handle cashier responsibilities accurately, including cash handling and processing transactions
Support team members in maintaining a welcoming environment for all guests




Follow all health and safety regulations related to food industry standards

Skills
Food preparation skills with knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation practices
Experience with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient order processing
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and courteously
Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required
Ability to work well in a team-oriented setting while maintaining a positive attitude
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
Upselling skills to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities

Pay: $18.25 per hour
